General Information

Best time to visit: June to September

Climate: The climate in Leh Ladakh is extremely cold in in winter. In winter the temperature is -20 to 15 degree. It is the ideal time for snowfall. In summer the temperature is -3 to 30 degree Celsius.

How to Reach

By Air: Regular flights are available for Leh from New Delhi, Jammu, Chandigarh and Srinagar.

By Road: Leh is approx 1050 kms away from the Delhi. Manali Leh road is the road route to reach the Ladakh.

Itinerary

Duration: 5 Days/4 Nights

Places to visit: Delhi - Leh - Khardungla - Leh - Delhi

Day 1: (Delhi Arrival)

On the arrival at the Delhi IGI airport you will reach Delhi and will be accompanied to the hotel that has been booked in advance. After reaching hotel you can go sightseeing tour in Delhi like go for historical places, shopping in Chandi Chowk etc. After enjoying the day you will return back the hotel for the overnight stay and dinner.

Day 2: (Delhi - Leh)

After having breakfast you will go for Leh by air from Delhi. You will check into the hotel Leh. And you will completely take rest in Hotel in second day.

Day 3: (Leh Local Sightseeing)

In morning after breakfast you can see the Stock Palace Museum, Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point and Sangam of confluence of Indus & Zanskar rivers. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4: (Leh - Khardungla - Leh)

Morning excursion to Khardong-La, highest motorable pass in the world and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Rest of the day free to explore the markets for shopping etc. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5: (Leh - Delhi)

Last day you will go for Delhi by air.
