General Information

Best time to visit: The Islands of Lakshadweep are open all round the year. The Ideal time to visit is the months to October to April. The months from May to September are also the time to enjoy on the islands.
Culture: Islam majority influences the culture of the people of Lakshadweep. Opana and Lava dance are famous dance.

Food: sea food and Halal Meat. The food is generally spicy and rich in coconut flavor.

How to Reach

By Air: Lakshadweep islands are 400 kilometers far in the west coast of Kerala. Indian Airlines operates its daily flight to Agatti except on Sunday.

By Sea:
Bharat Seema and Tipu Sultan are two of the better ships that sail this route. Ship cruises operate from Cochin to Agatti and back.


Duration: 6 Days/5 Nights

Places to Visit: Cochin - Agatti - Bangaram Island - Cochin

Day 1: Cochin

Upon arrival transfer to hotel for overnight. You will visit Fort Kochi, beach, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, an exquisite structure featuring mural paintings depicting scenes from Mahabharata and Ramayana, Chinese Fishing Nests and a Jew Town. Night stay is scheduled in hotel.

Day 2: Agatti - Bangaram Island

After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport to board a flight to Aggati. Then you arrive at Agatti for a striking beach holiday in India. Overnight, stay in hotel.

Day 3 to 5: Bangaram Island

On the third day you will be taken on an escorted walk to the enchanting Island of Bangaram. troll along the beach, opt for an Ayurvedic massage, indulge in the water sports or simply bask in the sun. Retire back to the hotel after an entire day of activities.

On the 4th day
you should again visit Lakshadweep tour. You can set out on a trip to explore the surroundings of Bangaram Island. Along with taking part in the recreational activities, you can also tour around the island.

Day 5 is just another day to explore the Island and try your hands with adventurous water sports. If you wish to explore the aquatic life, go Scuba diving to witness the coral reefs. For those wishing to pump adrenaline, Sailing and Kayaking may be the choice. Even the idea of doing nothing on the beach is tempting. In the evening you will transferred to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: Bangaram Island - Aggati - Cochin

You’ll transfer to the Agatti airport where you’ll catch the connecting flight to back home.
