It is located in the western Indian state of Gujarat at around 288 km from Ahmedabad in Junagarh district. This beach offer the different types of water activities like scooting, surfing, Para sailing, speed boating etc.

How to Reach: The nearest airport is Keshod around 145 km, which is connected to Mumbai with regular flights and Delwada railway station, is situated around 9 km from Ahmedpur-Mandvi and connected to the Ahmedabad-Veraval line.

Beyt Dwarka Beach

The Beyt Dwarka Beach is the most famous beach as a holy place. There are number of tourists come to visit for worship and see the temple of Lord Krishna. This the popular pilgrimage center of the Gujarat. A site to see is the shore birds that gather in large numbers along the coast at dusk. You can do the verity of activities like swimming, skiing, boating, biking etc. Dwarka has some fine stretches of beach. The Rancchodrai Temple, Devaki Temple and Temples of Chief Queens of Krishna, Mahaprabhuji Bethak, Bala Hanuman and Shankh Talav are other attractions.

How to Reach: The nearest railway station is Jamnagar.

Diu Beach

Diu Island is situated 125 kilometers from Junagadh. The sandy beach, and green lush area and pleasant climate attract the tourists every year. The charismatic church and incredible forts are also the tourist destinations along the Diu Beach. The island of Diu was a Portuguese colony and a major port for maritime trade during 14th and 16th century. The light house, Ganeshwar temple, davan and Kewadi are the other visiting place. Diu is well connected by Indian Airlines with Bombay and Ahmedabad.

How to Reach: The nearest railway station is Delwada(9km) by metre gauge line. But the major railhead is at Veraval(85km), which is connected to Bombay via Ahmedabad.

Somnath & Veraval Beach

This beach is famous because of temple of Somnath. Every year thousands of devotees come to visit here and worship to Lord Shiva. This temple is one of the twelve 'Jyotirlingas of Shiva'. This beach is very clean and beautiful because of its natural beauty, droning waves and golden sand. You can do the several activities like camel rides, fishing etc. You can also travel to Junagarh which is 7 kilometers from this beach.

How to Reach: Nearest airport Keshod (55 km) is linked to Bombay by Vayudoot services. Nearest railway station to reach Somnath is at Veraval at a distance of 7kms well connected with Ahmedabad.

Chorwad Beach

This beach is 66 kilometers from the Junagarh and 23 kilometers from the Veraval beach. It is a fantastic place for enjoying with family. Chorwad is actually a small village. The main means of livelihood of the people who live here is fishing. The tourists who come to visit Juanagadh often do not miss the opportunity of making a trip to the Chorwad Beach. There are the several resorts which provided the main facilities to the visitors. Chorwad is home to a palace which was constructed by Nawab Saheb Mohabbat Khan, the regional governor of his times.

How to Reach: Somnath is located 6 km from the nearest railway station at Veraval.

Madhavpur Beach

The madhavpur Beach is most attractive beach. Mostly people come to visit here for beach and historical place both. The Haveli temple of Madhavraiji is the chief attraction. It is situated 11 kilometers far from the Colva in Gujarat. The best time to visit here October and March. The beautiful sandy beaches, coconut trees, green lush milieu etc increase the beautifulness of this beach. It is situated in Porbandar, Gujarat.

How to Reach: Domestic Airlines are available from Porbandar, 60 kms away from Madhavpur. Madhavpur is on Porbandar-Dholar metre gauge and Jamnagar-Junagadh railway line of the Western Railway.

Gopnath Beach

The Gopnath Beach is the most attractive beach in Gujarat where several tourists come to visit each year. It is situated in the Bhavnagar district of the coast of the Gulf of Kambhat, at a distance of 75 km from the city of Bhavnagar. This beach is known for its scenic beauty, limestone cliffs, natural surroundings and fascinating flora and fauna. You can do amazing and joyful activities. The Gopnath temple is 700 years old and it is most visited place.

How to Reach: Various domestic airlines connect Bhavnagar with Mumbai and Surat. Gopnath is on the Western Railway Line connecting Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

Porbandar Beach

Porbandar beach is located on the Southeast coast of Gujarat, West India and situated along the Arabian Sea between Verval and Dwarka beach is popular for glorious sunset views, delicious sea food on sea side restaurants, beach resorts. Shop for gold and silver jewelry at the local shops and taste the real Gujarat at the restaurants serving 'dhokla' and 'khandvi'.
